Spacejunk is born to present and represent the extraordinary creativity of the artists of this milieu (surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding). Those ones who are united by a common obsession: expose their art on the objects that set these athletes and aesthetes free—their boards.
All of the artists assembled here have contributed their style to at least one of the marks associated with these sports. Today, these artists are known for their long-term commitment to this milieu, which began at a time when the reputation of these sports was far from what it is today…
So, at last, we can use the term legitimacy.
That’s why ISPO as the biggest European Boardsports Trade Show believed that it makes sense (and a lot more that that) to help and present proudly those Board Culture artist through Spacejunk.
